Fly tying simple leech.
Very easy pattern using only a few materials
and can be made many different colors.
My favorite colors are black,olive and white.
Materials
Streamer hook
lead wire .20
Utc70 Thread
Marabou Feather
Silver Tinsel
1. Wrap lead around hook.
2. Start thread and wrap to the back.
3. Tie in the tinsel so the silver side will be wrapped out.
4. Tie on marabou feather tail.
5. If using a small hook one feather will do the tail and body. Spin it to form a rope.
If using a larger size you may need to tie in a seperate feather for the body.
6. Wrap forward.
7. Tie down and cut excess.
8. Spiral up the tinsel rib.
9. Tie off and trim.
10. Whip finish and Enjoy.
