Materials

Hook 10-14

Thread UTC 70 Tan

Bead 1/8 brass bead

Body Orange floss

Rib Small holographic gold tinsel

Thorax Black UV ice dubbing

Hackle Partridge feather



 

1. Add bead to hook and secure a hook in the vise.

2. Start thread.

3. Tie in floss and work to the end.

4. Tie in the rib.

5. Move thread back to front. tie off and cut.

6. Wrap the floss up to front. Reattach thread and tie down floss.

7. Rib the body 5 wraps or so to thorax area.

8. Make a dubbing noodle.

9. Dub the thorax area.

10. Tie in the partridge feather.

11. Wrap 2 or 3 times.

12. Trim feather and whip finish.

13. Enjoy
