Materials

Hook Sz 10

Bead 1/8 Rainbow Tungsten

Tail Silver flash

Rib Blue flash

Body UV Pear Ice dubbing

Thorax Red Hare-tron dubbing

Hackle Black Cape

 

 

 

 

 

 

 1. Place bead on hook and secure in vise.

 2. Work thread to the back.

 3. Tie on the tail.

 4. Tie in the rib.

 5. Dub the back 2/3 of shank.

 6. Wrap the rib up 4-5 turns.

 7. Dub the front with the red dubbing.

 8. Tie on the hackle feather.

9. Wrap the hackle as much as you like.

I like a fuller hackle so I use most of the feather.
